Calorie moderation is key to weight loss, so staying in the range of 1200-1400 calories spread between 4-5 meals per day will make huge strides in your fat burning efforts. You should never eat to the point where you feel sick, just satisfied. Eat slower and spread your meals out and you will lose weight quickly.
2. Escalator Movement – We have become a nation of 5 minute micro-wavers, and 2 minute dishwashers. We choose to make everything easier, and take out any of the hard work that used to force us to maintain a high metabolic rate. The average person today takes about 1,500 steps per day, when the recommended amount is 10,000. From now on make an effort to park a little farther, and take the stairs. I’m not saying that you need to work out 2 hours a day, but live a more active lifestyle. I recommend getting a pedometer so that you can monitor how many steps you take each day to see if you are hitting the goal. Just doing this alone, will help greatly increase your weight loss efforts.
3. The Crash Diet Revolution – Every day we are on a new diet. The soup diet, the cabbage diet, and so on and so on. There is no such thing as a healthy diet. We are artificially losing weight, instead of living a healthy lifestyle. Instead of finding the hot new thing, make the choice to live healthy by eating fresh fruits, vegetables, and lean protein. Make a commitment to educate yourself as to what a healthy lifestyle consists of, and live it.
